Mini-break Highlights
by thissparklylife
Last week was my uni break which was wonderfully relaxing and allowed me the time to get some things done that have been in the back of my mind for a while.
I cleaned out around 3/4 of my wardrobe, indulged in some pampering, was up to my ears in green juice, ate at Veggie Mama and Manna Wholefoods, caught up with friends, took my wooflet for an emergency visit to the vet (!!), hit up the markets, caught up on iLectures, attended a fire and ice themed party, went to SHBAM (so much fun!) and bought lots of new winter clothes resulting in a wardrobe the same size as before the clean out ;)
Here are a few bits and pieces from my past week:

The Fire and Ice, Revenge inspired party (awesome theme) was one of my favourite friend’s 21st birthday party. It was a beautiful night :)

Shellac. I hardly ever have my nails painted so decided to go for fun, extreme colours; a purpley blue on my fingers and an ironic barbie pink on my toes. I was definitely in a girly mood! Unfortunately I didn’t get to see if it lasted more than a week as I had to take it off for a modelling job.
This little fur ball decided to eat half a packet of sultanas that had dropped out of my cousins bag. We had heard that grapes/sultanas weren’t great for dogs so rang up the vet for advice. After hearing that they can be extremely toxic and result in renal failure, we rushed her off to the vet where she was given a shot to try and get her to throw up and then spent 2 nights in hospital on a drip! Hectic stuff. Don’t let your dogs eat grapes, raisins or sultanas!

My Integrative Nutrition class materials arrived! Having done the fundamental classes I officially start the course in May, very exciting :)
Have a wonderful and inspiring week,

PS If you’ve seen half of this post before I apologise, I somehow managed to unpublish it, oops.

love your nails and so glad your dog is ok!
Thanks Dee! She’s an expensive pooch haha xx
I know what you mean…our pussycats cost us a fortune but we wouldn’t be without them!
Hey gorgeous, thanks so much for stopping by the blog again, I love it when my readers say hello! I know exactly what you mean; I wouldn’t say I’m help obsessed because that’s kinda counter productive, but wellness has definitely been my priority for the last twelve months. It’s definitely shifting to spirituality now, which inevitably covers wellness anyway, and I can’t even properly explain how miraculous my life has become, so I definitely encourage to dip your foot into some spirituality!
Also, I reeeeeeeally want to study with IIN, I’m planning on starting in Octoberish, but I’m honestly getting a little impatient, I think their program will be amazing. Did you have to pay the 5k up front? Or are you on a payment plan? I’d love to hear back from you.
Have a fabulous day!
Hi Tara! Yes I’m so excited about the health coaching course, I feel it’ll compliment my dietetics course really well. I love that it focuses on all aspects of health rather than just nutrition.
I paid upfront but was lucky enough to score a “scholarship”. If you’re on their email list and follow the blogs of people who promote IIN, they very often have discounts/promotions :)
Feel free to ask me any other questions you have about it, I’ll try my best to answer :) xxx
Hi Emma, lovely post! It looks like you had a really great break. I did too, but it just wasn’t long enough.
Your green juices look delicious. What kind of juicer do you use?
I have also been thinking of doing the IIN health coach course. How much did you pay with the discount if you don’t mind me asking?
xxx
Hi Lolita, I’ll email you! x
